All of the tracks were created between November 2010 and February 2012. During a season in which i had my previous furthest push into adulthood. Placed in not-quite chronological order, each track tells a story of different places along the journey, which, as you will tell, has a rise and a fall. And then a transition into the next thing, which this album doesn’t say.
I’m releasing this album now, in January 2016, as part of a season where I am… not *purging*, but rather moving on, from music written over the previous era of my life. Like with “Not Just Salvation But Recovery”, released in December 2015, I am now feeling it is time to share with others music that only my ears have enjoyed for a few years now. Gotta make room for the next era of music, wherever God wants to lead. I’m also releasing this album now because, like in 2010/2011, I am, as I type, making my next push into greater things in life.
I just read the last line of “A Saturday in February.” I consider it a blessing to be able to experience the freedom of moving on, as it affords me to experience and pursue the next wave of opportunities, just like “catching the next train."
