The title is inspired by a phrase from an Episcopal chant from “Holy Spirit Sunday” (see Hymn #504 from the Episcopal Church’s 1982 Hymnal), where certain musical tones brought to life a flame that not merely flickered but became a campfire, a fireplace fire. This track leads off the album because its inspiration set the tone for the endeavors of the coming season. Since I believe that everything good in my life is Divine-inspired in some way or another, it seems appropriate to first give honor to the Original Inspiration before chronicling the rest of the story.
