Like “A fairy tale revisited”, I don’t have a lot to say about this one. I will let the title speak for itself, since there is something true about the day in which I recorded this track. One thing I will say is I appreciated the chance to picture myself in a large building such as St. Paul’s Cathedral in London or the Taj Mahal. I often think about Keith Jarrett at different points in his career when he had the opportunity to record or give a concert in a large space, and how that affected the music that came out. That said, musically, I’m pretty pleased with the large range of dynamic and size and shape that I allowed the music to be.
