Written in 2000, this was my first real attempt at writing a piano piece after having studied easier pieces written by Bach and Beethoven, also written before having gained a fuller understanding of Sonata form. This piece is essentially material that is played through twice, and the second time in which the music modulates differently in order to stay in the same key, with a bit of an extended ending. Not a complete Sonata, this piece more or less follows the form of a Sonatina.
This track was created and mixed in GarageBand, with a simple piano patch and minimal effects.
